After struggling a lot with Unity and C#, making little progress with the coding aspects of my game, Adam recommended Godot to me. It should be more accessible to me as someone with little experience in this area of game design. I can access lots of resources and tutorials to help me, as well as forums the answer more specific questions I might have.

To get to grips with it I’ve been looking at Godot resources about random and procedural generation to look at the best ways to create the map system in my game.
